Hey there, crafty friends! Today is the first of September, which means new Club Kits from Spellbinders. Today, I am sharing several cards that I made using the September Card Kit, Together is Best. I love the papers in this kit. The colors are beautiful, and there are lots of options availble to make cards for different occasions.
Together is Best: September Card Kit
The Monthly Card Kit contains dies, a clear stamp set, die cut paper shapes, paper, envelopes, and embellishments. Each kit contains at least 200+ pieces and will create 10+ complete cards. This month’s Together is Best Card Kit includes a 6×6 paper pad, clear stamps, an adorable die set, tons of embellishments, and more!
Grateful
The color scheme in Together is Best is extremely versatile. You can find papers and embellishments for fall, spring, and everything in between. For Grateful, I used the dark green dots as the background for the card to create more of a fall look. It paired nicely with the floral pattern paper available in the kit. I embellished using die-cuts from Together is Best, and finished it off with some ribbon and enamel dots.
Missing Your Hugs
I just LOVE the floral pattern used for the background of the Missing Your Hugs card. It is so gorgeous that I knew I wanted it to be the main attraction of this card. I kept the design simple, with a torn piece of yellow background paper and a strip of burnt orange cardstock near the bottom of the card. I layered die-cut flowers and butterflies for visual interest and finished the card off with the Missing Your Hugs chipboard flag at the top.
From All of Us
I really like the chipboard frames provided in the Together is Best kit. For this card, I kept the design super simple with two pieces of pattern paper from the 6×6 paper pad. I used coral ribbon to give a layer of dimension and contrast between the two patterns. Finally, I added a chipboard frame, house, and sentiment to the bottom corner of the card.
Hello You
For my final card, I used the telephone die that came with the Together is Best kit. I used black and gold cardstock from the kit along with some purple from my own supply stash. I cut three copies of Hello You and used glue to stack them together to help make the sentiment stand out. I layered the telephone onto a piece of background paper and black cardstock from the kit. I covered the A2 card in the beautiful floral pattern shown and added an extra Thinking of You sentiment and gold heart to the top corner to complete the design.
