Lori Whitlock October Blog Hop

by Michelle Starcher

Hi there, it’s Michelle, aka the Bookish Designer. I am super excited to be Blog Hopping with the ladies from Lori Whitlock’s Creative Team.  This is the second to last stop on the blog hop today, so be sure to check out Marcia’s post and all the team projects if you haven’t already.  If you think you may have missed one, you can head back to the beginning at Lori’s blog.

For this month’s blog hop, I made several different Halloween treat boxes for my friends at work. I wanted something a little different for each of them, so I picked out several different files from Lori’s shop. In this first set, I used the Vampire Gift Bag (SVGSilhouette), Halloween Witch Tote Bag (SVG, Silhouette), and the Mummy Halloween Treat Box (SVGSilhouette).

In the second set, I used the gift bag with handle from the Halloween Gift Bag Bundle (SVG) and the 2 on 12×12 Tag Bag Jack O Lantern (SVGSilhouette). You can make two of each bag base on one 12×12 piece of paper. All of the these projects were made using Lori’s I Love Halloween collection from Echo Park Paper Co.

Don’t forget Lori has a sale going on today. That makes this the perfect time to stock up on treat bag files, like the ones used in this post. Plus, you can grab the freebie while you are there!

You are indeed ready for Halloween trick or treaters which will be very different this year. When I was walking 1 of my 2 dogs this morn I asked a woman who was walking her children to the elementary school in neighborhood if her children would be trick or treating. She said they would so I told her my street and to look for the Pirate Skeleton and I would have treats to hand out from a distance of course.
