Lori Whitlock February Blog Hop

by Michelle Starcher

Hi there! I am Michelle, the newest member of the Lori Whitlock Creative team. I am so excited to be joining the team and sharing my love of papercrafting with all of you!

This is the last stop on the blog hop, so be sure to check out all the team projects if you haven’t already. If you think you may have missed one, you can head back to the beginning at Lori’s blog. Don’t forget Lori has a sale going on today plus a giveaway and super cute freebie just for you:)

Since Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, I made Lori’s Accordion Book Box Gift Card Holder (SVG and Silhouette) for my project this month. I am surrounded by readers in my life, so this faux book is the perfect way to deliver that Barnes and Noble or Kindle gift card. I call it the Book of Love!

This project was super easy to put together. Just be sure to cut 2 sets of the long, scored sheets. You can find the tutorial here. I used double sided paper for this project, so I had a few more options for mixing and matching prints without having to use any additional supplies. If you go this route, just remember to put adhesive on the right side of the paper:)

Here is a picture of the open book. The gift card fits inside the frame perfectly. This is a great project that works for any occasion!

Remember to head over to Lori’s Shop today to take advantage of her sale.
