Hi there paper crafting friends! I am so excited to share my latest mini-album with all of you today. The Happy Summer mini-album features the beautiful Summer Market Collection by Carta Bella Paper. This collection is reminiscent of summers in the country with trips to the fruit and flower markets. The paper’s texture has a quilt-like quality that continues the country vibe. I am not sure what my favorite part of this collection is…the texture or the colors.
This mini-album is fully-loaded with over 30 pages (16 front and back). The Summer Market mini-album features a mix of 3×4, 4×4, and 4×6 pages. There is space for over 30 photos in this small, pint-sized album.
Like the Disney mini-album I shared with you last week, I used photo flips to add in a few extra photos. In this example, I wanted more than one photo on this two-pages spread, so I added a 3×4 photo flip. This created room for two more photos inside the flip. For this flip, I used the Close to My Heart Flip Flaps since they give me a choice in the orientation of that flip.
Since the element cards of the Summer Market collection are just gorgeous, I wanted to use all of them in this album. However, I still wanted the album to hold a lot of photos. That meant I had to get creative with my pages. In the page below, I created a little pocket to hold extra cards and photos. One of the cards opens up to reveal two photos, and the other can hold a photo on the front and back.
As I said before, this collection has a lot of country vibes. One of the ways it brings the Summer Market to life is through the use of fruit and kitchen elements. There are several pages that focus on summer fruits like lemons, peaches, and strawberries in the Happy Summer mini-album. I especially like this one featuring sun-kissed lemons. The green and white polka dot mixed with the yellow plaid look great together.
I really enjoyed creating the Summer Market mini-album. 4×6 mini-albums are the perfect size for creating decor albums that you can share with family and friends. I can’t wait to add our summer memories into this album.
