For this month\u2019s blog hop, I made a mason jar goodie box and fall card for a friend at work. I made my version of the Mason Jar Box Fall Day (SVG<\/a>,\u00a0Silhouette<\/a>) and the A2 Cutout Card Maple Leaf (SVG<\/a>,\u00a0Silhouette<\/a>). Both the mason jar and the card were made using leftover paper and stickers from previous projects. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I made a few changes to the Mason Jar Box Fall Day file. The biggest adjustment was to the size of the box. The mason jar boxes are designed to hold a couple of pieces of candy. However, I wanted to pack a little more into the box, so I enlarged the file size to make the jar about 4″ tall. The other change I made was to use patterned paper in place of the design included in the file. This made it a little quicker and easier to put the jar together. I’m a lazy crafter:) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the card, I replaced the sentiment with leftover stickers from a previous project. I also used my Tim Holtz Distress Inks to add some extra dimension to the card. I used Aged Mahogany for the edges and Scattered Straw on the rest of the card. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
