Hello, paper crafting friends! Today I am sharing four cards I made featuring the Sweet Serenade Notecards Collection from Spellbinders. This collection features stamps and dies that are perfect for creating cards and other papercraft projects any time of the year.
Happy Birthday and Love
For both of these cards, I used the Perfect Harmony Notecard Embellishments Etched Dies. For the “Happy Birthday” card, I used the topper outline as the base for the layered flower swag. I created the swag and the sentiment using the Lyrical Layered Florals Clear Stamp & Die Set.
For the “Love” card, I used the majority of the dies from the Perfect Harmony Notecard Embellishments set. I layered multiple tags and attached them using a piece of polka-dot ribbon. Fainlly, I used gold letterst to spell out LOVE on one of the tags.
Thanks
For this card, I used the Sweet Sayings Notecard Sentiments Etched Dies along with the Flourished Sonata Notecard Etched Dies. For the background on this card, I used the Flourished Sonata dies. These dies layer together to create a beautiful background for any occasion. The “Thanks” sentiment was made using the Sweet Sayings Notecard Sentiments. I cut four and layered them together using glue to help the sentiment stand out. The flower and rectangle strip behind the sentiment were from July’s Large Die of the Month, Mini Slimline Envelope & Nested Card Creator.
Hello
For this card, I used the Sweet Sayings Notecard Sentiments Etched Dies along with the Flourished Sonata Notecard Etched Dies again. However, this time, I cut the Flourished Sonata background down to fit an A2 card. I added a piece of bright pink cardstock to the back of the cut-out. Then, I added light pink cardstock and a piece of polka dot ribbon. To finish the card off, I used the Hello die from the Sweet Saying Notecard Sentiments set. Once again, I cut four copies and layered them together to help the sentiment pop.
Spellbinders has an awesome pre-black Friday sale going on with savings up to 50% off. While the sale doesn’t include the collections used for this post, it’s still a great opportunity to stock up on dies, stamps, and more.
Until next time,
Michelle
